Star Developmental Services (SDS) behavior respite service is designed to provide caregivers the opportunity for a temporary rest from their caregiving duties. Behavior Respite Service will be provided to a wide range of clients who have maladaptive behaviors that interfere with their daily living skills. These behaviors may include but are not limited to task avoidance, attention seeking, refusal, tantrum, property destruction, aggression towards others and self injurious behavior. (Regional center clients will need prior approval for behavioral respite services)
